Her highly acclaimed work Dangling Gandhi was the winner in fiction: short story at the 2020 International Book Award-American Book Fest. It made its mark – as an outstanding postmodern historical fiction. Her previous novel, Misplaced Heads, was on the Eyelands Book Awards 2020 final list of historical fiction, in Greece. Her three most recent books are Misplaced Heads, Dangling Gandhi, and Tabula Rasa. She was born and raised in India, and currently lives in Singapore. Jayanthi Sankar, who was drawn to write when she listened to the voice of her inner critic, successfully pursues a career as an author.
